In many cases, because I was retained at an early stage of the proceedings, I was able to avoid charges from being brought against my clients. In others, where an arrest on homicide or assault charges had already taken place, I was able to put an end to the proceedings, or to lessen the charges that were ultimately brought, by skillfully presenting exculpatory or mitigating evidence to the grand jury.
I have also been able to obtain outstanding results by reaching plea agreements with prosecutors when appropriate.

In homicide and other violent crime cases, there are a number of legal defenses and other critical issues that tend to arise with regularity. I've been involved with murder, attempted murder and assault cases for two decades and have dealt with it all during this time.
